Me hubiera gustado que Corben ganase un premio por su unión con Mignola en Hellboy… el resto pues hace indicar que TWD y Fábulas van bajando y dejando paso, muy a mi pesar porque las disfrutaba muchísimo. El género de mallitas desaparecido en combate, también curioso.

Curioso, no? Quitando el Mago de Oz o algo de la línea MAX de Marvel y a Vértigo o Joe Kubert y su Dong Xoai, Vietnam 1965, de DC… Las dos grandes editoriales de Superhéroes prácticamente sólo aparecen porque un colorista o portadista que ha trabajado para ellos, también lo ha hecho con otras editoriales. ¿A Quesada y a Didio no les da esto alguna pista de que las cosas no van para los personajes con súper poderes tan bien como ellos creen? A ver… esas manitas rojas…

Muy repartido… Como en los Oscar, cuando esto pasa, es un indicador de que el «arte» se ha mediocrizado, y que es necesario que llegue alguien que los vuelva a aupar y enseñarles como hacer bien las cosas.

Felicidades a Guarnido… y a Tardi. Es curioso que en premios normalmente «filtrados» por la comercialidad, se cuelen dos autores europeos, con álbums europeos, cuando es un formato que no tiene mucha cabida en el mercado americano.

Me alegro enormemente por Guarnido. ¡Sí!
Y me alegro por las nominaciones. Es decir, por las denominaciones, no por los candidatos. Quiero decir, que me gusta que se escriba «cómic digital» y no «webcómic», pues lo primero es genérico y lo segundo modismo. Y me hace gracia que se escriba «álbum gráfico» sin relacionarlo expresamente con las «novelas gráficas». También me parece relevante que en EE UU se otorguen premios a las antologías de comic strips y de otros cómics del pasado. Ellos tienen una industria y un mimo por sus obras que les permiten sostener un mercado con esas -por otra parte imprescindibles- recuperaciones. En España esto sería Utopía.

Felicidades a Guarnido. Todd Klein otra vez acaparando premios, lo merece. Y Martin Nodell, ya que en DC no le tienen ahora en cuenta (a pesar de las películas que estrenan, etc.) es bueno que con este evento se le reconozca.

Pues yo el de mejor dibujante se lo hubiera dado Dustin Weaver, que lo que está haciendo con S.H.I.E.L.D me parece absolutamente un espectáculo.
 
Cada página del número es una pequeña obra de arte en sí, se puede analizar milimétricamente para ver referencias por toda la página, y los primeros planos son para conseguir los originales y enmarcarlos como oro en paño.

Personalmente me parece perfecto el premio a Joe Hill, su Locke & Key es una pasada, pero he echado de menos algún premio a Scalped y a sus autores, para mi es la gran olvidada pese a su gran calidad.

Minipunto para Daytripper.
Me leí los dos primeros tomos de Lock and key y me dejaron mu frio, no me enganchó nada. Lo reeleré con el hype de los Eisner a ver si gana un poco.

Pensar que Vertigo se Hunde y es la que mas premios le da a DC que casi n i tiene nominaciones (y ni cuento los Tiny Titans k son otra linea). Para mi Unknown Soldier #21: A Gun in Africa fue la mejor historia corta. Y de guionistas y dibujantes, no lo entiendo, se k todo es opinable, pero Aaron y Williams III  (Batwoman) son los mejores

Juanjo Guarnido hace un trabajo multimedia increible, lastima que el solo dibuje animales antropomorficos, me gustaria verlo en un numero especial de Marvel o DC… 20th Century Boys de Naoki Urasawa debe ser un manga muy bueno para tener tantas nominaciones… Le hecharemos un ojo a «Return of the Dapper Men» y «It Was the War of the Trenches…»  «American Vampire» sigue dando la cara por Vertigo, con ese nombresote de Stephen King es logico que ganen… «Daytripper» como la mejor mini-serie, eso suena bien para Vertigo, aunque «Baltimore: The Plague Ships» de Mignola me da curiosidad… Chew de Image mejor serie regular, me gusta mas Echo del autor Terry Moore… Hellboy de Mignola y Corben mejor one-shot, que bien por Hellboy. Aque Fables #100 me da curiosidad y The Cape de IDW tuvo muchas buenas criticas.

Como casi a todos, me alegra enormemente el premio de Juanjo Guarnido, también el de Tardi. Merecidísimo me parece también el de Joe Hill, porque Lock & Key es una serie que crece número a número y siempre me ha alucinado. Además, el hecho de que lo publicado en España sea inencontrable en Madrid o Barcelona (lo digo por experiencia propia) querrá decir que esta serie está gustado, digo yo.
 
El premio de Daytripper me parece que estaba cantado, ya que claramente se destacaba de sus competidoras a nivel de calidad. Y por el contrario no estoy de acuerdo con el galardón de Chew, que para un servidor está a años luz de Scalped o Echo.
