Nominaciones premios Eisner 2012

Ya se han desvelado los autores y obras nominadas en los prestigiosos premios Eisner, me alegra enormemente el reconocimiento al Daredevil de Mark Waid que se hace con seis nominaciones, siendo dos de ellas en la categoria de mejor dibujante en la que comparten nominación Marcos Martín y Paolo Rivera (justisimo que ambos esten ahí), la otra serie que sale con tres nominaciones es iZombie de Mike Allred la inclusión de series que valen muy mucho la pena como: Ultimate Comics Spider-Man, Atomic Robo o el último éxito de Terry Moore Rachel Rising. Naci en Sabadell (Barcelona) en 1978 aunque siempre he vivido en Barbera del Vallés. Mi afición por los cómics de superhéroes se comenzó a gestar en el momento en que mi profesor de EGB, Joan, me dejó algunos números de Clásicos Marvel que contenían las historias: La muerte del Capitán Stacy, La muerte de Gwen Stacy y La última cacería de Kraven. Desde ese momento me convertí en fan absoluto de Spiderman y por extensión de Marvel Comics. Con el paso de los años aprendí a paladear el buen cómic sea cual sea la editorial, el personaje o autor. En 1999 fundé Zona Negativa como el rincón donde hablar de aquello que me apasionaba, el resto es historia.

El Daredevil de Waid y Martin es cojonudo. Pena que la propia editorial, como han dicho más arriba, haya saboteado la serie.

Que «nominar» es dar nombre a algo, aunque la academia haya agachado la cabeza y aceptara que es sinónimo de candidatura. Es una pena que empobrezcamos hasta extremos tan miseralbes nuestro vocabulario, ya de por sí raquítico en España.

Me llama la atención que la mayoría de nominados sean casi desconocidos y disten mucho de las series, autores y temas que tratamos por aquí o que vemos de forma preminente en las estanterías…como cada año, debo añadir.

Seguramente RR será publicada por Norma de la misma forma que todo lo de Moore: formato reducido, encuadernación otoñal, y periodicidad anual. Todo un lujo.

Cuando todos pensaban que el viejo Daredevil iba a dar un bajo increible al sacarlo de esa linea de historias oscuras que llevaba en el Vol.2… No sale que el Vol.3 de Mark Waid tiene 6 nominaciones al Eisner. Paolo Rivera lo ha hecho muy bien manteniendo el nivel de calidad grafica que dejo Marcos Martin, pero con todo y su buen nivel, hubiera preferido que continuara Marcos Martin… Este run de Mark Waid en DD ya es un clasico que se va a vender intemporalmente en las recopilaciones como los mejores arcos de DD.

La verdad no he leido el trabajo de todos los escritores, solo he escuchado que los numeros de AnimalMan son muy buenos… Pero Mark Waid por su Irredeemable & Incorruptible de BOOM! y su Daredevil Marvel, creo que se gana el Eisner y mas con el plus como premio a toda su carrera en los comics.

Y se que Alan Moore es un tio muy insoportable, pero creo que ese trabajo con Neonomicon de Avatar y su ultimo run en su LXG Century 1969, si merece una nominacion por respeto al viejo barbon de Northamton.

Increible como Neonomicon de Alan Moore & Jacen Burrows ya era Hardcover en los principales mercados editoriales del mundo a los 2 meses que se dejara de publicar la mini-serie de comics… Imagino que ya deben de haber comenzado los cañonazos de dinero por los derechos de adaptacion a cine.

Álex, coméntale eso de que la etapa de Waid puede ser legendaria a los señores de Marvel, que parece que no se han enterado y nos han colado a Khoi Pham, alzando el dibujo de la serie al umbral del ridículo (madre, qué mierda de dibujo el 10.1).
