Premios Harvey 2011

Gracias a comicsbeat acabamos de conocer los ganadores de este año de los Premios Harvey a las mejores contribuciones al mundo del cómic durante el pasado 2010. Siempre conviene recordar que los Premios Harvey fueron instituidos en honor de Harvey Kurtzman en 1988 para reemplazar a los Premios Kirby. Las votaciones de los mencionados premios provienen únicamente de los profesionales de la industria norteamericana de cómics, con todo lo que eso conlleva.

A continuación os ofrecemos el listado completo, ¡no sin antes felicitar a Juan Diaz Canales y Juanjo Guarnido por su galardón a mejor trabajo extranjero por Blacksad!. Este premio se suma al premio Eisner anunciado hace menos de un mes en la San Diego Comic Con. Blacksad está de moda. Y por supuesto, felicitar también a José Villarrubia, que se lleva el premio a mejor colorista del año. En otro orden de cosas, está claro que Darwyn Cooke, Roger Langridge y Daven Stevens y su Rocketeer: Artist Edition han sido los claros vencedores este año.

Comentar que justo esta semana me leí el primer tomito de Thor: The mighty avenger que ha editado panini, llevado por el ipulso de leer todo lo que saquen del tio del martillo, y el dibujo de Samnee me asombró sobremanera, hasta el punto de ir al día siguiente a mi tienda habitual a recomendarselo a mi librero. Me alegro del reconocimiento que se leha hecho.

Caray le había estado haciendo el feo a Blacksad pero ahora sospecho que me estoy perdiendo de algo bastante bueno, todo me pareció bien pero… ¿en verdad les parece mejor como serie regular Love & Rockets que Chew o que Echo?

Los hermanos Hernández llevan casi 30 años escribiendo y dibujando cómics de altísimo nivel.

Scott Pilgrim es total!!!Fresca,divertida,distinta,capaz de mezclar generos y no quedar en una amalgama sin sentido.Wilson quizas sea mejor novela grafica,pero la serie de Bryan Lee O’Malley es merecedora del premio no solo por la calidad sino por hacer algo independiente a la par de comercial,moderno y divertido.
Y que coste que Wilson me parecio muy buena y si Daytriper entrara en esa categoria tendria que haber ganado de calle..
Animo a todos a leer Scott Pilgrim,como ya he dicho es total!!!!

Daytripper es sobrecojedora. Una serie que te deja una sensación rara en el cuerpo, alegría y tristeza a la vez. Si quisiera enganchar a alguien al mundo del cómic se lo recomendaría.
